Dear running friends,
This Saturday, we will kick off the first of the Grand Prix night run series powered by Telekom. The heart of the Slovak mountains will host the 12th edition of the beloved event, ČSOB Night Run Štrbské Pleso.
You can look forward to a beautiful circuit around both the Small and Big Štrbské Pleso lakes. The route will also pass by the enchanting Love Lakes. But beware! This year, we have prepared several changes. In addition to changing the event’s base location, we have also moved the start and finish line.
All the necessary information can be found below in the organizational instructions.

Organizational instructions for Saturday’s event:
➡️ Event location: Štrbské Pleso, High Tatras
➡️ Start times and locations of the races: ATTENTION! CHANGE! The start/finish line for the races is moved to the main road between Hotel FIS (address: K vodopádom 26) and Hotel Patria.
17:00 – Turbo TV kids’ races
18:00 – charitable #Respect run
19:45 – 10 km
20:00 – 5 km
➡️ Event facilities: ATTENTION! CHANGE! Après-ski bar PEKYLAND (near the lower station of the cable car to Solisko, close to Hotel FIS)
➡️ Presentation, race number collection: In the event facilities, at the registration booth, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
New registrations will only be possible on-site if the participant limit is not reached (applies also to kids’ races). Changing registration to another participant will be possible on-site, with a fee of 5 euros.
➡️ Parking, arrival at the event: We recommend parking at the central.
➡️ Changing rooms, storage: Will be available in the event facilities.
Recommendation! To quickly locate and retrieve your bag/backpack after finishing, we recommend clearly marking your bag (especially applies to black bags/backpacks), for example, with a colored ribbon or scarf. Our colleagues will be able to find it more quickly based on your instructions, allowing you to change more quickly 🙂
➡️ Course: With the change in the start/finish location, there is also a slight adjustment to the course of the disciplines. Maps are published on the website www.bratislavamarathon.sk HERE. Kids’ races and the charitable #Respect run start from the same location.
This year, you can also look forward to ČSOB Music Zones along the course, where folk musicians will ensure your mood during the run.
➡️ Refreshments along the course and at the finish, medal: There will be a refreshment station on the 10 km route at approximately 4.5 km, offering water. At the finish, refreshments and refreshments from event partners Mattoni and BILLA will be available, and children will receive a sweet surprise on the occasion of International Children’s Day. Each participant will receive a participation medal at the finish.
➡️ Photography: Professional photo service GetPica will provide photos from the event. After the event, they will send a link to the photos to participants who provided consent for photography during registration, to the email provided during registration.
If you’re unsure whether you consented to receive event photos during registration, keep your race number and, after registering for free at www.getpica.com, enter the numerical code (Caution! Not the race number!) located below the QR code on your race number.
Avoid covering your race number with additional layers of clothing so your photos can be properly matched. If you like the photos, you’ll have the option to purchase them individually or in a bundle.

18:00 – Telekom “Shake-out run” (group warm-up, approximately 5 km, stretching), meeting point at Hotel FIS, training led by Petra Pukalovičová
Saturday, June 1, 2024:
10:00 to 19:00 – participant registration and presentation in the event facilities
from 10:00 – accompanying activities from event partners
11:00 – “plogging run” – trash collection (ČSOB Smart Lounge)
15:00 – running technique analysis at the Slovak Telekom booth
17:00 – start of TURBO TV kids’ races (A – B – C)
17:30 – announcement of TURBO TV kids’ races results
18:00 – start of the #Respect run discipline for adults and children (800 m)
19:45 – start of the 10 km race (Grand Prix)
20:00 – start of the 5 km race + Nordic walking
21:15 – ceremonial announcement of event results and watch giveaway (competition at the Slovak Telekom booth)
21:30 – After party at Apres Ski by “Peky”

Partner Activations
✨ On Saturday, the main event partner, ČSOB, will be present. In the ČSOB Smart Lounge, you can enjoy coffee and fresh fruit before the start. Creative workshops will be available for the little ones.
🪢 You’ll also find special blue shoelaces, the purchase of which supports the Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Slovakia.
🌲 It’s also a place where you can prepare for the “Plogging run” and collect your reward for helping the Tatra nature.
